Pastor John Eom

Interim Pastor

Pastor John joined the HMCC family during his college years at the University of Michigan. After committing his life to Christ during his sophomore year in 2007, he was discipled in scripture, prayer, church ministry, and the sharing of his faith. 

In 2009, after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, he moved to Indonesia as part of the international church plant team. He joined the pastoral staff as an assistant pastor in 2014. 

In 2016, he got married in Indonesia to his wife, Ester. They have two daughters, Abigail and Phoebe.

Pastor John is studying toward a Master of Arts (Biblical Studies) degree at Reformed Theological Seminary. Besides being with people and exploring music, he enjoys Indonesian coffee, unique foods and the persevering New York Knicks.

Pastor Eric Yee

Assistant Pastor

Pastor Eric came to the University of Michigan in 2006 as an undergraduate student. After the persistent invitations and prayers of his roommate, he eventually checked out HMCC and committed his life to follow Christ in his second semester.

In 2010, after graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Pastor Eric joined Pastor Andrew and a team that was sent to Indonesia to plant HMCC of Tangerang (then known as HMCC of Jakarta), and later joined the pastoral staff in 2014. 

In 2015, he married his wife Tina, who was also part of the church plant team sent by HMCC of Ann Arbor to Indonesia, and they helped start HMCC of Jakarta. They have two young boys together: Caleb and Micah.

Pastor Eric is studying toward a Master of Arts (Biblical Studies) degree at Reformed Theological Seminary.
